Mental Health...Why must we not keep ignoring it?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

When it comes to the mind, we eat rotten, dirty poisonous thoughts, everyday. This makes us sick, we get depression, anxiety, outraged, overwhelmed and all forms of mental illness.

According to a popular Theologian who said" It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society". Yes we are so sick that our society cares more about oral hygiene than mental hygiene. But believe me if were to choose between being toothless or mentally insane, am sure we all know what the answer will be: Toothless over insanity.

Depression, Anxiety, and Panic Attacks are NOT signs of weakness, they are signs of trying to remain strong for far too long. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of. Neither is talking about it. And we, as a society, need to talk about it more!
