Does Frying kill Everything?

We all have this perception that frying cannot possibly be healthy and that steaming or boiling vegetables is healthier than frying, and so many have asked this question over the years "Does frying destroy all nutrients in Vegetables?"

What do you think?
Interestingly, Research has found that potatoes and other vegetables kept more of their health-boosting compounds when fried in olive oil than when boiled in water.
Vegetables fried in the oil increased in their anti-oxidant capacity and chemicals which prevent long-term diseases.

We are not only talking of olive oil, we are talking of all kinds of oil such as the peanut oil, vegetable oil including the sunflower oil which can be used for frying vegetables.

So how do we conserve nutrients when frying vegetables. Here are tips from Experts:
Keep skins on when possible.
Use a minimal amount of cooking liquid.
Avoid continuous reheating of food.

See, frying is not that Bad! In fact most people have chosen frying over steaming / boiling method which may lead to greater nutrient loss in Veggies.

Next time I decide to fry my vegetables, I will do it with a smiling face 😊😊 and so should You....No worries
